Dave Kemp, Owner and president of DKR inc., personally does all estimates himself. This allows you to talk to an industry leader that will provide you with the best roofing solution and an accurate estimate.  

Below are some variables that we consider when estimating a project.

• Pitch – How steep is your roof?
• Valleys and Ridges – How many?
• Size – How big is your roof?
• Roofing Materials – Shingles, Metal, TPO flat membrane, or shake?
• Other Material – Flashing, Roof Vents, Felt paper and underlayments, ridge caps, and valley membranes?
• Labor Time?

Most insurance companies will typically pay for the cost, or percentage, of your new roof replacement if damage is caused by hail, wind, or other weather related damage. However, your homeowners insurance will probably not cover normal wear and tear due to age. Be sure to contact your insurance agency to verify exactly what your policy covers.
